So you think we got too much draft info already!! For those that haven’t seen it already, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has an interesting piece this morning on the growth of analytics in the draft business. Thoughful stuff, although we wonder if it would be adding just another layer of information and analysis on an activity that is ultimately unquantifiable! Sort of like studying past lottery numbers to make your picks in this week’s powerball. The one area where this kind of stuff might advance the goalposts would be giving a better idea of what is the optimum number of picks in which rounds.
