Key QB workout hilites final day on pro day sked … Its not quite in the leaving the best for last category but the annual pro day schedule wraps up today with a key workout at Memphis where QB Paxton Lynch will go through a scripted 71-pass workout. Lynch is currently rated as the #3 QB in this year’s draft class behind Carson Wentz of North Dakota State and Cal’s Jared Goff, but is still considered to be more the ‘best of the rest’ QB prospect than one of the Big 3. A strong showing today, though, and Lynch could get closer to the latter. His pro day is significant enough that the NFL Network will be covering it live beginning at 1 PM ET later this afternoon.
