Dolphins rescind tag on DE Vernon … As expected, after signing veteran free agent DE Mario Williams, Miami has rescinded the transition tag on emerging DE Olivier Vernon. That makes Vernon a full free agent as of 4 PM ET later today when the new football year officially begins. And Vernon is expected to cash in big-time as several teams with cap space are believed to be interested in his services including Jacksonville and the Giants.
