CFP shocker as Canes upset Buckeyes … There will not be a repeat winner in this year’s CFP playoffs after Miami’s shocking 24-14 upset of defending champion Ohio State in the first of four quarters finals games this week. The Canes will now go on to play the winner of tomorrow’s Georgia-Mississippi contest in one of two semi-final games on January 8th and 9th. The Canes win tonight was driven by a dominant defensive front led by DE Rueben Bain who was simply unblockable much of the night.
