Raiders back to top pick … In the end, Las Vegas left no doubt who wanted it the most in this afternoon’s ‘Tank Bowl’ as the Raiders were thumped 34-10 by the Giants in a battle of teams that were sitting on the 1st and 2nd picks overall in the current 2026 selection order heading into the week. When the smoke had cleared the Raiders were the only remaining two-win team in the league and will move back into the #1 spot at least for the week with the Giants dropping to #2. The Raiders can clinch the top pick with a loss to Kansas City next weekend, although they’ll have to work at it because of course the Chiefs are down to their 3rd string QB. The Raiders, though, may be without Geno Smith as he limped off the field late against the Giants. Meanwhile, the NY Jets have moved up into the #3 slot in the opening round selection order, while Arizona and Tennessee are still too close to call for the 4th and 5th picks with Cleveland and Washington too close to call for picks 6-7.
