Als, Riders in CFL final … The 112th edition of the Grey Cup game for the CFL championship between the Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders will be played Sunday evening in Winnipeg. Game time is 6:30 PM ET with coverage in Canada on TSN and RDS, while the game will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network in the US, as well as internationally on the league’s free live-streaming platform CFL+. The rival QBs are both small-college products with Sask led by Trevor Harris, who played at Edinboro, while Davis Alexander, from Portland State, calls signals for the Als.

And while it will be Montreal versus Saskatchewan for all the marbles in Canadian pro football, the college title up north will be decided next week between, well Montreal and Saskatchewan. In the college case it will be the Universite de Montreal Carrabins against the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. They’ll play next Saturday for the Vanier Cup in Regina. And for those a little rusty on their Canadian geography, Regina is the capital of Saskatchewan, which should give the Huskies something of a home-field advantage.
