Defenseless Cowboys may look to deal … In the wake of Sunday’s almost shocking 31-14 loss to the previously winless Bears in Chicago, Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones was quoted as saying that he’d be willing to trade a package of picks, possibly including one or even both of the two first-round picks they got from Green Bay in the Micah Parsons trade earlier this season, if they could get an elite defensive player in return. Of course, they had one of the league’s elitist defenders in Parsons before unloading him to the Packers, but who’s counting. Certainly, the 1-2 Cowboys -who needed a 64-yard FG just to get to OT in their one win against the winless Giants – need some help on that side of the ball, although their offence hasn’t been all that great shakes either i either of their two losses. For the record, the NFL trade deadline in November 4th. As we say, stay tuned!
