Ex-BYU QB Retzlaff resurfaces at Tulane … The somewhat bizarre football journey of former BYU QB Jake Retzlaff took another turn earlier today as he confirmed that he will be attending Tulane this fall. That came after he was suspended 7 games for violating BYU’s somewhat arcane honor code. Retzlaff was suspended after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman back in 2023 in a civil lawsuit filed in May. The lawsuit ended up being dismissed late in June, but Retzlaff’s response included an admission of premarital sex, which is a violation of the BYU honor code, which led to the BYU suspension. Retzlaff, a 3rd year junior, is a little undersized at just 6-1, 205, but he’s a gamer who can make plays with both his arm and his legs.
