Full pads for Shrine stars … The players in this year’s East-West Shrine game in Dallas will hit the field tomorrow for the first day of their four practice sessions that run thru Tuesday. Generally with the Shrine game, the first and last practices are more walk-thrus, while the second and third day workouts are usually the ones with full pads. Needless to say the big attraction in Dallas this week is the presence of Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders, who chose to play in the Shrine game rather than the Senior Bowl which begins on Tuesday in Mobile. And while the Shriners still play second fiddle to the Senior Bowl, there are still some very good prospects in Dallas this week along with Sanders including Michigan DT Kenneth Grant, WRs Ricky White of UNLV and San Diego State’s Nick Nash; LBs Jay Higgins of Iowa and Ole Miss’ LB Chris Paul; ERs Antwuan Powell-Ryland of Virginia Tech, Elijah Roberts of SMU and Boise State’s Ahmed Hassanein; DT Nazir Stackhouse; CBs Nohl Williams of Cal and Jason Marshall of Florida; TE Mitch Evans of Notre Dame; and RB Tajh Brooks of Texas Tech, while the other QBs include Brady Cook of Missouri and Syracuse’ Kyle McCord. Here are the full rosters of the East and West teams.
