New #1 on Big Board … As we have noted, here at the GBN we do not rank players necessarily by how we have graded ourselves, but how we hear NFL teams, at least in general, have them ranked. Everything we are hearing these days is that an emerging majority of teams would select Penn State DE Abdul Carter with the first pick overall if they had the choice and, of course, weren’t necessarily in the market for a QB upgrade. Bottom line is that Carter is increasingly reminding pro scouts of Micah Parsons, another former Nittany Lion, who has evolved into one of the league’s most disruptive edge rushers with Dallas and as such we have pushed him up into the #1 spot on the GBN Big Board just ahead of Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter.
