BYU QB Hill to stick with Cougs … In something of a surprise, BYU QB Tayson Hill has announced that he will play his final year of eligibility with the Cougars. There has been speculation that Hill would either opt to enter the 2016 draft or, if he decided to take stay in school for the extra year of eligibility that the NCAA has granted him, would take advantage of the graduate transfer rule and play instead at another program such as Michigan. Hill, who the majority of 3 of the past 4 years with injuries, was granted the extra season of eligibility after he suffered a season-ending Lisfranc foot injury in BYU’s season-opener this past September. The problem for Hill at BYU is that star sophomore Tanner Mangum appears to be solidly entrenched as the starting QB.
