Frisco Bowl player to watch … We are trying our best not to encourage the non-CFP playoff bowls. They may have a purpose other than to provide the various conferences with a little pocket change, as well as fill a bunch of ESPN air time, but we still haven’t found one yet. So as much as possible we tend to ignore them, although every once in a while there is a game with a really good prospect that, for whatever reason, hasn’t gotten a lot of national TV exposure to date. That happens in Tuesday night’s Frisco Bowl between Memphis and West Virginia at 9 PM ET on ESPN as Mountaineers’ OT Wyatt Milum (#74, 6-5, 320), who made several All-America teams this year, is one of the better prospects at the position for 2025; in fact, he has at least some legit late first round potential as he’s a prototype Big East mauler with a non-stop motor in the run game, but also has pretty good agility protecting the pocket.
