Updated: Giants hold serve; lose to Ravens and wait on Vegas re top pick … Leaving nothing to chance, the Giants lost 35-14 to Baltimore in an early afternoon to keep their hopes of ending up with #1 pick overall in the 2025 draft alive. The loss drops the Giants to 2-12 on the year and at least for another week are guaranteed that going into the week they will be sitting on either the first or second picks in the opening round selection order for the 2025 draft. The Giants, though, will have to wait until the end of play tomorrow tonight to see whether they will remain on the 2nd pick for the week or move up to #1 depending on what Las Vegas does in their Monday night game with Atlanta. Meanwhile, we can pretty well confirm that, again at least for the week, New England will be picking no worse than 3rd, Jacksonville will be no worse than 4th, Carolina will be no worse than 5th, Tennessee will be no worse than 6th, and Cleveland no worse than 7th. However, they all will move up a spot if the Raiders knock off the Falcons tomorrow evening,while the Jets looked to be locked into the 8th spot for this week..
