Raiders, Giants go to 1-2 with Jags win … There will be a new #1 in town this week as Las Vegas will move up into the #1 position in this week’s selection order for the opening round of the 2025 draft after the Raiders lost in Tampa Bay to drop to 2-11, while Jacksonville, which had been in that spot much of the season, got its 3rd win of the year, edging Tennessee 10-6. The Giants also had a shot at a 3rd win, but had a potential tying FG blocked in the game’s final seconds to also drop to 2-11; that put’s the New Yorkers up to #2 as the currently have a better SOS figure than the Raiders. Meanwhile, at least for the moment, New England will move up to #3, Carolina will be at #4, Jacksonville drops down to#5 with the NY Jets and Tennessee rounding out the top 7 picks, although there isn’t much difference between the Jets and Titans’ SOS numbers.
