Jags keep #1 pick; top 7 set for week … Although there are still a couple of games to go to wrap up this weekend’s action, but Jacksonville will hang onto the #1 pick overall in the opening round of the 2025 draft for at least another week. The Jags will be followed, again at least for this week, by Las Vegas and the NY Giants at #s 2 and 3. The Raiders had been behind the Giants entering the week. but which squeezed ahead of the NYers based on a weaker SOS figure that resulted because the Giants’ opponents had a much better week than those of the Raiders. Meanwhile, New England will be in the 4th spot, followed by Carolina at #5, the NY Jets at #6 and Tennessee at #7. And Cleveland will be in the 8th spot if the Browns lose to Denver in tomorrow’s Monday night game.
