Another super weekend on college sked … It may be hard for college football to match last weekend’s string of terrific games, but they’ll give it a go with several potentially outstanding match-ups headlined by #1 Texas hosting #5 Georgia on Saturday evening in what looks like one of those prototypical ‘Games of the Year!’ And just as a bonus, that game will also feature two of the top QBs for this year’s draft in the Longhorns’ Quinn Ewers and Carson Beck of the Bulldogs. A top QB prospect – Alabama’s Jalen Milroe – will also be front and center when the 7th ranked Tide #7 plays at #11 Tennessee on Saturday afternoon in another hugely impactful SEC contest. Here’s a preview of who we’ll be watching in the Georgia-Texas game as well as in the Alabama-Tennessee contest as both games are loaded with other prospects in addition to the QBs. And keeping with the QB watch theme, arguably the top two prospects at the position – Cam Ward of Miami and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders – will also be featured on Saturday with the Hurricanes playing at Louisville, while the Buffaloes play at Arizona.
