Top Senior Bowl players

February 1, 2024

National team Senior Bowl practice review … In no particular order, here are the players we thought really stood out at the Senior Bowl morning practices this week.

  • CB Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo
  • OT Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State
  • WR Roman Wilson, Michigan
  • DT Tyler Davis, Clemson
  • C Jackson Powers- Johnson, Oregon
  • C/G Dominick Puni, Kansas
  • C/G Tanor Bortolini, Wisconsin
  • CB Khyree Jackson, Oregon
  • DT Gabe Hall, Baylor
  • LB Payton Wilson, NC State
  • WR Javon Baker, UCF
  • DE Jaylin Harrell, Michigan
  • RB Marshawn Lloyd, Southern California

On the other hand, there is really no way to spin the fact that it was not a great week for any of the three QBs – Michael Penix, Bo Nix, and Sam Hartman – on the National team. as a general rule, NFL seldom significantly downgrade players who don’t excel at the Senior Bowl, but it was a chance for these guys, especially Penix and Nix who were hoping to show the pros that they are first-round worthy, to make a statement.

Same story for players at other positions, but guys who clearly did not do much to enhance their grades this week included North Carolina WR Tez Walker, who could get open but really struggled to catch the ball, Arizona OT Jordan Morgan, Utah OG Sataoa Laumea, and Oregon DE Brandon Dorlus,
