FCS title game Sunday

FCS title game Sunday … While needless to say THE big game in college football is Monday night’s CFP championship game between Michigan and Washington; however, its not the only college football title game this weekend as the defending champion and top-ranked South Dakota State Jackrabbits (14-0) take on the Montana Grizzlies (13-1) for the FCS championship at 2 PM ET in Frisco, Texas with coverage on ABC. SD State, which is looking to extend its two-year 28-game winning streak, which included their 3 playoff games this year which they won by a combined 123-12 margin, appears to have the more talented lineup. Indeed, SD State RB Isaiah Davis (#22. 6-0, 220), who is closing in on 1,500 rushing yards this fall, is the only player on either team who is considered to have a draftable grade. The Jackrabbits, though, also have several other players sure to get looks from pro scouts including their dynamic All-American offensive line duo of OT Garret Greenfield (#7-4, 6-6, 320) and OG Mason McCormick (#60, 6-4, 315), while junior QB Mark Gronowski (#11, 6-2, 225) is one of the 3 finalists for the Walter Payton Trophy, the FCS Heisman. The Grizzlies also have an FCS All-American in junior WR/KR Junior Bergen (#5, 5-10, 180) who had 4 return TDs this fall, while Clifton McDowell (#17, 6-3, 225) is a very good dual-threat QB and LB Blaxton Hill (#35, 6-2, 225), who had over 100 tackles this season), leads the defence.
