Another Duck off to draft; Vols DE transfers … There are a couple of draft-related dispatches on the college football wire at this hour. Star Oregon WR Troy Franklin has announced that he will be entering this year’s draft; he’s the 3rd Duck 3rd year player to declare joing RB Bucky Irving and C Jackson Powers-Johnson. Franklin is coming off a remarkable season in which he made severall All-America teams after posting 81 receptions for almost 1,400 yards and 14 TDs. The 6-2, 180-pound Franklin is currently the 6th rated receiver on the GBN position ranking and the 25th rated prospect overall. On the other hand, former Tennessee DE Tyler Baron, who had been considered a strong mid-round candidate for the upcoming draft, instead has transferred across the conference to Mississippi.
