Als stun Bombers with late TD to cop CFL’s Grey Cup … Montreal QB Cody Fajardo threw an 18-yard scoring strike to WR Tyson Philpot with just 13 seconds on the clock to give the Montreal Alouettes a 28-24 win over the favored Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 110th edition of the Canadian league’s Grey Cup game. It was the Als first CFL championship since 2010. It also marked another disappointing finale to the season for the Bombers who were also upset last year in the title game by Toronto.
