Star Iowa DB, PR out for year … Star Iowa CB Cooper DeJean, a top 15-20 prospect for the 2024 draft, will miss the rest of the season with an undisclosed lower leg injury. Fortunately, though, it does not appear to be an ACL as the school has indicated that the recovery period is in the 6-8 week range which means he should be ready for pre-draft testing including the combine. DeJean is one of 5 finalists for the Nagurski Award, given annually to the outstanding defensive player in the country, while he also leads the Big Ten in punt returns. The 6-1, 210-pound DeJean is currently listed as the #18 prospect overall on the GBN Big Board.
