‘Horns QB Ewers to return … Texas got a little good news with word that QB Quinn Ewers will return to action this weekend when the Longhorns play TCU. Ewers, one of several QBs in the mix to be the 3rd player selected at the position at the upcoming draft after USC’s Caleb Williams and Drake Maye of North Carolina, had missed the last two games with a sprained shoulder. Meanwhile, LSU QB Jayden Daniels has been cleared to play this weekend when the Tigers host Florida Saturday evening. Daniels spent most of the week in concussion protocol after taking a nasty hit to the head in last week’s loss to Alabama.
