Trade deadline looming … The NFL trade deadline comes up tomorrow at 4 PM ET. For the moment, though, there isn’t a whole lot of buzz out of there about any impending deals. However, Minnesota could be in the market for a QB after Kirk Cousins was lost for the year with a torn Achilles in yesterday’s win over Green Bay. One possibility there might be Tennessee’s Ryan Tannehill, especially in the wake of the rather spectacular pro debut of 2023 2nd rounder Will Levis who threw for 4 scores in his first career start in the Titans’ win over Atlanta yesterday. There has also been some speculation that the Titans’ could also move star RB Derrick Henry, but they have reportedly told him he is safe; indeed, the Titans would probably want to keep him around if they are going to go with a rookie like Levis at QB. There has also been some speculation that Washington could deal one of DEs Montez Sweat or Chase Young with Chicago being mentioned as a possible destination. Stay tuned.
