Colts rook QB has shoulder surgery; season done … Indianapolis rookie QB Anthony Richardson underwent season-ending shoulder surgery yesterday. Richardson, the 4th player selected at the 2024 draft, injured his throwing shoulder two weeks when tackled on a designed run in a game against Tennessee. And while he will miss the rest of the season, the good news for Richardson and the Colts is that the surgery was reportedly pretty routine with no additional structural problems being discovered and a full recovery is expected.

Meanwhile, speaking of the Titans, Tennessee is expected to start rookie Will Levis this weekend when they host Atlanta. With starter Ryan Tannehill out with an ankle injury, the Titans have been saying that both Levis, a 2nd round pick this past April, and Malik Willis, their 3rd round pick in 2022, would see playing time, but the expectation is that Levis will get the bulk of the snaps for the struggling 2-4 Titans.
