Waiver deadline passes; teams start to build practice squads … With the Noon ET today deadline to claim players who were waived yesterday off waivers having passed NFL teams can now start to sign up to 16 players to their practice squad. In fact, several teams have made waivers claims. One of note saw Arizona claim WR Elijah Higgins off waivers from Miami; Higgins had been a 6th round pick of the Dolphins this past April.
