Top pick, two others sign today; three 2023 #1s still unsigned … Carolina QB Bryce Young, the first player selected overall at the 2023 draft, has signed with the team. Young agreed to a 4-year, fully guaranteed deal worth a reported $38M. In signing today, Young and the Panthers avoided a holdout as Carolina’s rookies are due to start training camp tomorrow. Young, in fact, was one of three 2023 first rounders to sign today as Washington inked CB Emmanuel Forbes and New England came to terms with CB Christian Gonzales, the 16th and 17th players selected respectively this year. And with the three signings today just three 2023 first round picks remain unsigned including QBs CJ Stroud of Houston and Indianapolis’ Anthony Richardson, who were taken with the 2nd and 4th picks this past April. CB Devon Witherspoon, selected one pick Richardson by Seattle, is the other unsigned #1 pick.
