Hopkins still a Cardinal; clocking still ticking … Its been a pretty quiet day around the NFL so far today with the draft now just 27 hours away. Nothing new, for example, on the trade status of Arizona WR DeAngelo Hopkins other than the fact that he was gushing about QB Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. And Hopkins, of course, is not the only veteran who is potentially on the move prior to or during this weekend’s draft. Indeed, other veterans who could be moved include San Francisco QB Trey Lance, although the team says its not actively shopping him; RBs Derrick Henry of Tennessee, who the team says they haven’t received any calls on, and the Chargers’ Austin Ekelar, who has asked for a trade; WRs Tee Higgins of Cincinnati, Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton of Denver, and maybe even Cooper Kupp of the LA Rams; Cincinnati OT Jonah Williams, another player who has requested a trade; Tampa Bay LB Devin White; and Arizona S Budda Baker. Stay tuned. It could get a little wild and woolly!
