However, none of those guys is generally considered to be in the top tier of safeties. Among the more highly rated safeties, Antonio Johnson of Texas A&M ran okay with a 4.52 clocking, but the others including Jammie Robinson of Florida State (4.59), Georgia’s Chris Smith ($.62) and Brandon Joseph of Notre Dame (4.62) and Penn State’s Ji’Ayir Brown (4.65) were somewhat slower.
