Bears ‘leaning’ toward moving top pick … ESPN is reporting this morning that Chicago is “leaning toward” trading the #1 pick at this year’s draft. According to the reports, the Bears have already been approached by multiple teams about the availability of the first overall pick. And while the report doesn’t name names, it is widely assumed that several teams including Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas and Carolina have to be interested. What isn’t being talked about as much – or at all for that matter – is that the teams that don’t get the #1 pick are still going to need a young QB which could make the 3rd pick overall, currently held by Arizona which appears to have recommitted to Kyler Murray, possibly just as attractive, especially if QBs have indeed gone 1-2.
