MAC DT biggest combine snub … Its kind of a big deal which players get invited to the annual scouting combine in Indianapolis because year in and year out the large majority of players selected that year attended the combine. In fact, it usually somewhere in the neighborhood of 85% selected at the draft in April were at their combine in February. Still, every year in the past there were always generally a half dozen surprise omissions from the list of combine invites. Not so much this year, though, as the only player that we could describe as a legitimate snub is Bowling Green DT Karl Brooks, who had an impressive 10 sacks last fall and didn’t look at all out of place at last week’s Senior Bowl.
