BC gets SEC QB transfer … Former Kentucky QB Patrick Towles announced yesterday that he is transferring to Boston College where he will be eligible immediately as a graduate transfer. The 6-5, 325-pound Towles was considered to be a darkhorse candidate to enter the 2016 draft as an underclassmen, but was benched for the final two games of the yer after throwing more picks (14) than TDs (9). That was after Towles threw for over 2,700 yards and 14 TDs against 9 interceptions the previous year as a sophomore.
