Second round of cuts looming … With the second week of glorified pre-season scrimmages now in the books – Atlanta and the Jets will wrap the week Monday evening when the play in New York – teams around the league will need to be done to the 80-man roster limit by 4 PM ET on Tuesday afternoon. Of course, those that survive this week’s cuts won’t have any time to relax as all teams to the 53-man opening day roster on Tuesday, the 30th. It is also highly unlikely that anyone selected at the 2022 draft will be released this week, although a number of undrafted rookies are likely to be released. In fact, some teams have already announced some or all of their cuts with Seattle, for example, releasing former Miami FS Bubba Bolden, who was the 8th ranked player on the GBN list of undrafted players.
