Panthers sign top pick … Carolina has reportedly come to terms with former North Carolina State OT Ickey Ekwonu, the 6th player selected at the 2022 draft. Ekwonu gets a 4-year deal worth a reported $27.6M with $17.2M guaranteed. There is also the normal club-option fifth-year option. Ekwonu is the third top 6 pick to have already signed to date as he joins DE Aidan Hutchinson and CB Sauce Gardner, who were the 2nd and 4th picks respectively by Detroit and the NY Jets, in coming to terms relatively quickly.
