Jags ‘edge’ closer to taking edge … The chances that Jacksonville will select an edge rusher with the first pick at the 2022 draft just a little stronger Wednesday afternoon when LT Cam Robinson signed his franchise tender. The Jags could always look to the future at the position, but for now it does look less likely that they would select either of OTs Evan Neal or Alabama or North Carolina State’s Ickey Ekwonu with the #1 pick this year rather than either of leading edge rushers Aidan Hutchinson of Michigan or Georgia’s Travon Walker who we mentioned yesterday as being very likely very much in the picture for the top pick given what is viewed as his high ceiling.
