Corral solid in pro day workout … Another day; another QB pro day! Today, it was the turn of Mississippi’s Matt Corral who turned in a solid performance at the Rebels’ workout. In many ways the best news for Corral was that he was able to work out at all before the draft after suffering nasty ankle injury in Ole Miss’ Sugar Bowl loss to Baylor, but he showed no hint of any lingering issues from the injury. And like Kenny Pickett and Malik Willis in the previous two days this week, Corral gave NFL teams looking for a QB plenty to chew on. Corral was smooth moving around the picket and showed a very quick, compact delivery with the majority of his passes today on the numbers. However, what you didn’t see from Corral today, unlike Willis yesterday was exceptional arm strength. Indeed, Corral’s deepest throws were around 45 yards, whereas Willis threw several darts in the 60-65 yard range. For the record, Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder will get his turn tomorrow at the Bearcats’ pro day, while Sam Howell of North Carolina is scheduled to throw on Monday.
