Defense on display at combine … The offensive players have left the field at the scouting combine in Indianapolis and the defensive prospects will take over for the next two days. Indeed, the defensive linemen and LBs will be doing their on-field thing later today beginning at 4 PM ET on the NFL Network. Then it will be the turn of the CBs and safeties tomorrow beginning at 2 PM ET. And along with the WRs who worked out Thursday, the group that we are more intrigued to watch are the DEs. Of course, there is always the question of who actually participates at the combine and who waits for their pro day, but the defensive end class is loaded with as many as 8-10 prospects with at least some first-round potential. Should be fun!
