All the odd Super Bowl ads! … A reader asked us the other day whether we thought that winning the Super Bowl helps a team re-sign some of their players eligible for free agency. It would appear to be a particular big deal for the LA Rams as two of their key mid-season additions – Vonnie Miller and Odell Beckham – will both be free agents when the new football year starts next month if they aren’t re-signed before then. Truth be told we aren’t sure as players do tend to follow the money, but sites like this one probably can tell you something about the odds for that as well as just about anything associated with the Super Bowl.
