What’s old is new again; Jags back to #1 … Not sure anyone saw this coming, but with three weeks to go in the regular schedule, Jacksonville is back in the #1 spot were the 2022 draft to be held this week. Detroit, which had been sitting on the top pick for weeks, stunned Arizona, while the Jags went down in their epic AFC South showdown with Houston. As a result, the Lions will drop down to the #2 pick, at least for this week, with Houston 3rd and the NY Jets 4th, although there isn’t much difference between the SOS numbers of the Texans and Jets at this hour. The Giants will also have the 5th pick again this week, either their own of Chicago’s; however, the rest of the top ten won’t be settled until after the Bears play the Vikings on Monday night. And, of course, the full, weekly selection order won’t be updated until after the games postponed to Tuesday are completed.
