#2 pick on the line in Jax … Assuming that there are no more Covid-related delays in the NFL schedule over the next 18 hours or so, the #2 pick overall at the 2022 will be very much on the line when Jacksonville hosts Houston in one of Sunday’s early games. The Texans and the Jags are the league’s only 2-11 teams and would have held the 2nd and 3rd picks respectively if the draft had been conducted this week. Needless to say, the loser of Sunday’s game goes a long way to securing one of this year’s top two picks with only three games to go. Meanwhile, Detroit which has a half game lead on the Texans and Jags for the #1 pick overall, is in tough Sunday with a home game against Arizona which currently has the league’s best record. At the same time, the NY Jets who currently hold the 4th pick will be at resurgent Miami, while the Giants, who sit 5th, will be home to Dallas without starting QB Daniel Jones (neck) for a 3rd straight week.
