Draft pick race into home stretch … There are at least a couple of games on this weekend’s schedule that are going to have a major on the early selection order for the 2022 draft. Houston, which currently holds the 3rd pick overall were the draft held this week, will be hosting 4-8 Seattle, which is currently sitting on the 5th pick, although it actually belongs to the NY Jets as a result of an earlier trade. There is also sort of an interesting game between teams with top 10 picks with Atlanta playing at Carolina; both are 5-7 and would have had the 8th and 9th picks respectively this week. Meanwhile, Detroit will be looking for a second straight win after posting their first W of the campaign last week when the Lions play at Denver in a late game Sunday afternoon, while in early games, #2 Jacksonville will be at Tennessee and the NY Jets, which have the 4th pick, will be hosting New Orleans. As usual the full opening round selection order will be updated after the Monday night game.
