Ducks, #5 downed again by UTes

Ducks, #5 dismal again in Pac-12 blow-out loss … Oregon had vowed some revenge against Utah in last night’s PAC-12 conference championship after the Utes had knocked the Ducks out of the national championship playoff hunt two two weeks. However, when they got down to business last night it was just more of the same as Utah won easily 38-10 to earn the conference’s bid to next month’s Rose Bowl. And if Oregon DE Kayvon Thibodeaux was looking for a dominating performance to solidify his position as the consensus favorite to be the #1 pick at next April’s draft, he left scouts asking ‘is that all there is?’ Thibodeaux did have a sack late in the first half, but finished the night with just three tackles in a game in which he looked just as disinterested as many of his teammates. On the other hand, Utah LB Devin Lloyd had a big night posting 7 tackles and pick-six interception that put an exclamation point on the Utes’ domination.
