Surgery for Badger RB; season could be in doubt … Wisconsin had been hoping to get star junior RB Corey Clement, who has been sidelined with what has been described as a groin injury since the opening week of the schedule, back for the start of their Big Ten schedule next week. Now the the Badgers are simply hoping to get Clement back at all this year after he was scheduled to have sports hernia surgery next week which will sideline him for 4-6 weeks, although even that time frame may be a tad optimistic. Indeed, Clement who had been considered to be one of the top 2-3 RB prospects for the upcoming draft, has acknowledged that he might consider redshirting if Wisconsin isn’t in the running for the league title once he returns.
