Winless Lions could be without QB next few games … While Detroit head coach Dan Campbell strongly reiterated earlier today that Jared Goff will remain the winless Lions starter at QB, circumstances may force his hand. In particular, Goff reportedly has an oblique injury that could sideline his for awhile, although the Lions won’t know for sure until he actually tests it out at practice later this week. If he does have to be replaced the Lions back-up is David Blough who did start 5 games in 2019 when Matt Stafford was injured. The Lions, who would have the first pick overall were the 2022 held this week, play at Cleveland this Sunday and then have a quick turnaround with their traditional Thanksgiving Day game coming up four days later against Chicago.
