Thursday night game with draft implications … NFL execs were probably expecting a more attractive match-up when they scheduled Baltimore to play at Miami in this week’s Thursday night prime time game (8:20 OM ET; FOX; NFL Network). The Ravens certainly have held up their part of the bargain; they’re 6-2 and lead the very competitive AFC North Division. However, its been pretty much a disaster from the get-go for the Dolphins who won just their second game of the year last weekend, a rather lackluster win over one-win Houston. That left the Dolphins sitting on the third pick overall in the 2022 draft selection order were it to be held this. Of course, the Dolphins don’t actually own the pick anymore having traded it to Philadelphia prior to last April’s draft. Ouch!
