Jets back to 5th pick after loss … We had several people ask how the NY Jets’ loss to Indianapolis in last night’s Thursday night game changed the opening round selection order for the 2022 draft were it to be held this week has been updated. Interestingly, with the win over the Jets, the Colts upped their record to 4-5 which inches them closer to a possible playoff berth. Eagle-eyed observers will also note that because of the Colts win and Jets loss, Houston and Miami (whose pick also belongs to Philadelphia) flipped the 2nd and 3rd picks from earlier in the week, which reflects just how close are the SOS numbers of the two teams. As noted earlier in the week, though, that tie will be broken this weekend when the two teams play each other in an early game on Sunday.
