Ducks’ RB Verdell done for year … Oregon RB C J Verdell, a solid third day type prospect for the 2022 draft, will miss the remainder of the season, after suffering what is being described as a ‘lower-leg’ injury in the second half of the Ducks’ upset Oregon’s loss at Stanford last Saturday. Verdell, who has almost 3,000 career rushing yards, leads the Ducks this fall with just over 400 yards through 5 games; he has also scored 6 TDs. While he is technically a 5th year senior this fall, Verdell has apparently not ruled out returning to school for another year next fall.
