Jags oh-so close but lose again on last minute FG … For much of last night’s Thursday night game against Cincinnati it appeared Jacksonville would finally end an 18-game losing streak. The Jags led 14-0 at the half and were still up a TD early in the 4th quarter. Alas, it was not to be as the Bengals were able to get a tying TD midway through the quarter before adding a game-winning FG as time expired. That drops Jacksonville to 0-4 and for the moment sitting on the first pick overall in the current 2022 selection order. Whether they hold it through the weekend will depend to a large degree on how the Jets do when they host Tennessee on Sunday afternoon. Heading into the week, the two teams were tied for the weakest SOS figure of the league’s 5 remaining winless teams.
