Panthers first to get cuts started … Carolina appears to be the first team to make cuts prior to Tuesday’s 53-man roster deadline. The Panthers announced releasing 6 players including PK Joey Slye and former Northwestern LB Paddy Fisher, one of the better undrafted players in the 2021 draft. The Panthers, though, still have to release another 21 players to get down to Tuesday’s roster limit.
