Rising Bengals pick likely out for year … For the second year in a row, Cincinnati will lose a top pick for the year because of a knee injury. Of course, last fall, QB Joe Burrow, the #1 pick overall at the 2020 draft, suffered a torn ACL and spent the second half of the campaign on IR. It now appears that emerging DE Joseph Ossai, the Bengals’ 3rd round pick this past spring, will likely miss the upcoming season as he is slated to undergo surgery later this week to repair a torn MCL. Ossai had turned some heads in the Bengals’ pre-season opener when he was a one-man wrecking crew with a half dozen QB pressures that included a sack of Tom Brady.
