Rams get future Lions pick in deal for DT Brockers … Updating that trade between Detroit and the LA Rams in which the Lions will acquire former first round DT Michael Brockers from the Rams. The compensation is expected to be a 7th round pick in 2023. That gives new meaning tothe phrase future late rounder, although its actually something for the Rams as they were reportedly on the verge of releasing Brockers after he refused to accept a significant pay cut. It is the second deal of this off-season for the two teams after they made that blockbuster deal involving QBs Matt Stafford and Jared Goff earlier this year.
